Our client, a leading private healthcare facility in Al-Ain, is seeking an experienced Medical Director to lead their dynamic medical team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in medical leadership roles, particularly within the UAE healthcare system. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the medical operations and daily functions of the hospital to ensure patient safety and the highest standards of care.
• Lead the development and implementation of clinical policies, protocols, and practices, in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations.
• Supervise and manage the performance of the medical staff, providing guidance, training, and professional development.
• Collaborate with hospital management and department heads to enhance operational efficiency and improve patient outcomes.
• Ensure continuous quality improvement and work towards achieving accreditation and maintaining compliance with regulatory bodies.
• Manage the hospital’s clinical budget and resources efficiently, balancing patient needs with operational costs.
• Participate in strategic decision-making processes to drive the hospital’s vision and growth.
• Represent the hospital in medical matters when interacting with government health authorities, insurance companies, and other stakeholders.
• Provide leadership to multidisciplinary teams and ensure a collaborative approach to patient care.

WORKING CONDITION

• Working Hours: 48 Hours / Week, 5 days a week
• Shifts: Day Duties  
• Contract Period: 2 Years Renewable
• Probation Period: 6 Months
• Family Contract: Candidate, Wife and 2 Kids

EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

1. Graduate of Medical School, recognized by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
2. At least 2 years of experience in a Medical Director or Chief Medical Officer (CMO) role.
3. UAE experience is required.
4. Proven leadership experience in managing a team of healthcare professionals in a hospital or healthcare setting.
5. Strong decision-making abilities and in-depth knowledge of healthcare operations.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Experience with regulatory bodies and accreditation standards in the UAE.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Salary: 

• Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Flexible salary structures are available depending on the role (practicing physician or administrative).
