For Specialist and Consultant Physicians seeking to start the DHA licensing process to practice in Dubai.

What You’ll Need to Get Started:

  • Primary Medical Qualification: A medical degree (e.g., MBBS, MD, MBChB, etc.).
  • Transcript of Records: A document issued by the university that includes a detailed record of courses and grades (or mark sheet).
  • Specialty/Subspecialty or Board Certification: A certificate or degree confirming completion of a residency/fellowship program or board certification, demonstrating expertise in your specialty (e.g., Cardiology, Surgery).
  • Training Certificate: A formal document issued by the university hospital, verifying the duration of your residency or fellowship training.

An Employment Experience Letter confirms your employment at a hospital, clinic, or center. It should include your job title (e.g., Consultant in Interventional Cardiology), employment dates (from DD/MM/YYYY to DD/MM/YYYY), and a description of your duties. The letter must be on official letterhead, signed, and stamped by the Medical Director or CEO. Note: Employment gaps over three (3) months are not allowed.

A Surgical Logbook is a record of surgeries performed in the past two years. It must be issued by the hospital, show competence across a variety of major cases, include the procedure name, date, and number of cases, and be signed and stamped by the Medical Director or Department Head on official letterhead.

A Current Health License is a valid document issued by the health authority in the originating country, authorizing the practice of medicine, a specialty, or a subspecialty.

A Certificate of Good Standing is an official letter issued by a medical authority, council, or order of physicians, confirming a clean professional record free of malpractice, dated within the past three (3) months.

A clear, high-resolution copy of a passport valid for at least six (6) months from the date of submission.

A recent, high-quality photograph (2Γ—2 inches) with a light background.
