Our Client is one of the top-notch busiest private hospitals in Jeddah, KSA seeking a Podiatrist Consultant to join their Team and provide preventative care, diagnosis and treatment of a range of problems affecting the feet, ankles and lower legs. This can include infections, defects and injuries, as well as foot and nail conditions related to other major health disorders such as diabetes. You'll also give advice to patients on improving mobility, independence and their quality of life. Duties Provide individual consultations to patients concerning continued treatment of disorders and preventive foot care. Diagnose foot ailments such as tumors, ulcers, fractures, skin or nail diseases, and congenital or acquired deformity such as weak feet and foot imbalance. Use innovative methods to treat conditions such as corns, calluses, bunions, heel spurs, ingrown toenails, arch problems, shortened tendons, cysts, bone disorders, and abscesses. Design corrective orthotics, plaster casts, and strappings to correct deformities. Design flexible casting for immobilization of foot and ankle fractures, sprains, or other injuries. Correct walking patterns and balance, and promote the overall ability to move about more efficiently and comfortably. Refer patients to other physicians when symptoms observed in the feet indicate disorders, such as diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, or kidney disease. Working Condition Working Hours: 40 Hours / Week Working Days: 5 Days / Week Shifts: Straight Shifts, Morning and/or Afternoon Shifts Contract Period 1 Year Renewable Probation Period 3 Months Family Contract: Candidate, Wife or Husband and 2 Kids On Call Duties: Divided per the number of Consultants Minimum Qualifications Requirements Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited college of podiatric medicine Not Less Than 3 years of Independent Experience post completion of residency.
